Participating farms include Van Hart Greenhouses in Kettleby, on the Holland Marsh, Organic Farm Thames River Melons in Innerkip, north of Woodstock and the Secrete Farms northwest of Brampton.

“The farmers will sell lettuce and greens, squash, 21 varieties of tomatoes, garlic, eggplant, strawberries, blueberries and more,” committee member Martha Bell is quoted as saying in a local newspaper article.

The initiative to support Ontario Farmers, Gardeners & Community Groups, to bring back a “Small-town Feeling” to the village core and to have fresh produce to offer to residents and visitors was made by a Grassroots Group of Local Residents & the Woodbridge Agricultural Society.
