(open to entrants aged 15 and older)

Prize money for Class 63A: 1st - $10.00, 2nd - $9.00, 3rd - $8.00
Best in Show will receive $25.00 plus a year's membership to Visual Arts Brampton.
Sections - all entries must be original works
1. An Agriculture Scene - oil or acrylic.
2. Pen and Ink, any subject

Class 64
 
Please Note: Class 64 is open to high school entries only and are to be submitted by a teacher. The maximum size for entries in this class is 24” x 30” and all pieces must be ready for hanging. Double-sided tape and staples may be used to display works.
 
 
CLASS 64A - High School Art

CLASS 64C  - O.A.A.S. Senior Poster Competition
Grade 9 to 12

A hand drawn poster promoting the 2012 Woodbridge Fair; the theme of the 165th Woodbridge Fair is “Harvesting History”.
  • Poster must clearly show name and date of Fair, Oct. 6, 7 & 8 2012.
  • Poster Size:
    • Minimum 8½" x 11" (23cm x 28cm) without border
    • Maximum 11" x 17" (28cm x 44cm) without border
  • Entries must be centered on cardstock or bristol board exposing on all four sides a 2” border.
  • Name of Fair, district (#5), contact person, owner of poster to be clearly labeled on the back of each entry.
  • The winning poster becomes the property of the Woodbridge Fair Board and may be used in the Fair’s promotional advertising.
  • The winning poster will be eligible to enter the district competition. District winner will be eligible to enter at the provincial competition.
  • Judging Standards:
    • Overall appearance - 20 points
    • Attract and hold attention - 30 points
    • Competition theme clear - 40 points
    • Quality materials/end product - 10 points
