Articles must not be older than two years.
Sample fabrics and floss must be attached to each entry.

YOUTH SECTION ONLY:
  Because the 1st prize is a one day pass for the midway rides, and must be picked up by noon on Monday the 13th, you may call the office to see if you have won the pass, on Saturday, October 10th.


CLASS 74 - SECTION A
OPEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS, 5 YEARS OLD & YOUNGER

1. Make and decorate a magic Wand
2. Using a Toilet Paper roll or Paper Towel roll, create and decorate a Musical Shaker
3. Decorate an Evergreen cone to look like a Christmas Tree
4. Decorate a Gourd to look like a Turkey
5. Decorate your Footprint
6. Print your name in big block letters, and decorate it.

CLASS 74 - SECTION B
OPEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS, 6 to 9 YEARS OLD

1. Make and decorate a Crown
2. Using a Stamp Pad andn your Thumb, Prints, make a THUMB ANIMAL and add details with a marker.
Use a piece of 4" x 6" paper.
3. Decorate a Soup Can as a pencil Holder
4. Print your favourite recipe on a Recipe card.

5. A Tissue paper Flower on a stem

CLASS 75
OPEN TO BOYS AND GIRLS, 10 TO 13 YEARS OLD

1. Place 6 eggs in half an Egg carton, and decorate as Zoo Animals
2. Using Safety Pins and Beads, make an Insect Broach.
3. On a piece of Black Paper, 4" a 6" submit a funny Pet Photo, and add a caption.
4. A Christmas Door Knob decoration.
5. A Suncatcher
6. Decorate a Potato to look like a Car.

6. Make a Demolition Derby Car out of recycled material.

Judging:  Friday, October 10th, 2008 at 4:30 P.M.
Times for bringing entries as per Needlework Division.
1. All entry forms must be submitted by 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 10, 2008.
The entry fee is $ 5.00. The Secretary's office will be open to distribute entry tickets from, October 6, 7, 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., October 9th until 9:00 p.m., & October 10th until 12:00 noon.
2. When you have your entry tagged please take them to the Homecrafts Building, Thursday October 9th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. or Friday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
3. NO ENTRIES WILL BE RECEIVED AFTER 12:00 NOON ON OCTOBER 10th, 2008 unless otherwise stated.
  • Antiques must be at least 50 years old to qualify.
  • Entries are judged on condition and age. Small cracks or flaws will not disqualify the item.
  • Only one entry per section is permitted.
  • Amateurs only may enter - no dealers.
  • If possible, supply a 3" x 5" index card with a story or historical explanation about your item.
  • The item must not have been exhibited here in the last five years.
  • Prize money applies to all sections, unless otherwise stated 1st $6.00, 2nd $5.00, 3rd $3.00
  • We will take the best possible care to safeguard the items, but cannot be responsible for accidents to them.
